WILL OF ANN TIDEMAN dated 28 November 1675 and discharged at Ipswich on 5 August 1676.

In the name of God Amen the eight and twentieth day of November anno Dommine one thousand six hundred and seventy five and in the seven and twentieth yeer of the Reigne of our Soveraign Lord Charles the second by the Grace of God of England &c: King &c: I Ann TIDEMAN of Earl Stonhm In the County of Suffs widow though weare in body yet of perfect mind and memory god be praised doe hereby revoke and disanul all former wills by me heretofore made and doe make and declare this to be my Last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say ffirst I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing in and through the meritorious deserts of Jesus Christ my saviour to receive full pardon & remision of all my Sins and as for my worldly estate whereof the Lord in me mercy hath made me a Steward I despose as ffolloweth Item my will & meaning is that my executor hereafter named shall have full power and authority to make sale of all and singular such my Goods & Chattles that other than what Edmund my son shall take with the consent of Stephen MARTIN of Earle Stonham aforesaid and the moneys thereon arising to goe for and towards the payment of my debts and also my will and meaning is that the said Stephen MARTIN shall quietly and peaceably have hold injoy and possess all and every my Lands and tenements Scituate and being in Earle Stonham aforesaid and the rents and profitts therof to take untill all the rest of my Debts and funerall shall be paid and after the payment of when the said Debts and funerall expenses shall be paid and satisfied then I give and bequeath my said Lands and tenements unto Edmund TIDEMAN my said son for and dureing his naturall life and after his decease I give and bequeath the said Lands and premises unto the two children of the said Edmund my son that is to say Edmund and Martin if they or eyther of them shall be liveing at the decease of theire said father as the heires to hold to them as coe heires dureing theire joynt lives and after the decease of either of them my will and meaning is that the survivor shall enjoy his part so dyeing and his own of the same Lands & premises to him & his heires for ever and if both the said Children of the said Edmund there father shall depart this life before the said Edmund theire father that then the said Edmund there father shall quietly have hold & posses all the said Lands and premises to the onely use and uses of him the said Edmund his heires & assignes for ever Item I nominate & appoynt the said Stephen MARTIN and my said son Edmund to be executors of this my Last will and testament to take my debts pay my debts and bring my body to the earth in Christyan buriall as I fully hope they will In Witnes whereof I have declared this to be my Last will and testament and have heerunto put my hand & seale the day and yeere first abovewritt the marke of
