From the Bury & Norwich Post of Wednesday 29th January 1823 regarding Edward's marriage:

"Thursday last, Mr Edward Mulley, of Needham, to Miss Lucy Bye, of tha(t) place". Lucy Bye was born in 1786 and died in 1855 and was buried at the Independent Congregational Church in Needham Market, Suffolk on 11 October 1855.

In the 1865 Kelly's directory Edward is listed as a commercial resedent as "Mulley Edward, sen. shoe maker & broker", his son Edward Mulley was listed as "Mulley Edward, boot maker".

Edward left effects of under £200 in his will.
