Arthur's wife Sarah Rebecca Masterson was born in Ipswich in 1859 and died in 1936 aged 76 also in Ipswich.

In 1861 aged just one she was living with her parents Henry and Eliza Masterson at 10 Alfred Street, Ipswich.

Arthur and Sarah had 1 child - Walter Henry Bloomfield who was born in Ipswich in 1888, baptised at St John's Church in Ipswich on 24 July 1895. He died in 1931 aged 43 also in Ipswich, Suffolk.

On the 1911 census both Arthur and his son Henry are at 4 Tomlin Street in Ipswich but his wife is shown as a Sick Nurse General but is at Kirby Lodge Kirby Street also in Ipswich.
