Rev. George Clarke

  General Notes:

George was educated at Peterhouse College, Cambridge from 6 July 1685. He entended Bury St Edmunds School in 1686 and gained a BA (1688-1689)and MA (1692).

George was ordained as a priest on 20 December 1691 in London and was the rector of Raydon in Suffolk from 1702 to his death in 1730.

George married Elizabeth Brand, daughter of John Brand and Elizabeth Brage, on 19 November 1706 in Bentley, Suffolk. (Elizabeth Brand was born in 1685 in Edwardstone, Suffolk and was baptised on 31 December 1685 in Edwardstone, Suffolk.)
