Thomas Neame
Thomas had a brother in law, John the Tanner who was the guardian of the boys. John the Tanner's family came from Neamestown in Wexford Ireland. He was the maternal uncle who became guardian of 3 of his nephews, and had mercantile/piratical interests. He flourished ca 1450. He was in the business of exporting hides to Europe. He was charged with hijacking ships in the English Channel, and selling off the cargoes in Flanders by the High Court. Thomas married. |
